These terms apply when you use the William Taylor storefront or purchase our products. Please read them before placing an order. William Taylor operates from Dar Village Mikocheni Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
1. Products and orders
Review the product description, size, colour, quantity and price before submitting an order. Provide accurate contact and payer details so we can process your purchase and communicate with you. Product colours may appear differently on different screens.
Submitting an order does not by itself confirm successful payment or that the items are ready for collection. Check your order and payment status, and contact us to confirm handover arrangements. If an item becomes unavailable or an order contains an error, we will contact you to resolve it.
2. Prices and VAT
All prices are stated in Tanzanian shillings (TSh / TZS) and include VAT. Check the total shown for your order before paying. Customer-arranged delivery charges are separate from the merchandise price and must be agreed with your chosen delivery provider.
3. Payment methods
We accept online payments by credit card and mobile payment, as well as bank and cash payments. Online checkout offers the methods currently available for that transaction. Contact us for bank or cash payment arrangements.
Follow the payment provider's instructions and approve payment only after checking the amount and recipient. Never send your card security code, bank password or mobile money PIN to our staff. Payment is complete only when it has been successfully received and confirmed.
4. Customer-arranged delivery
Delivery is arranged by the customer. Contact William Taylor to coordinate collection or handover before sending your courier or representative. Agree delivery charges and timing directly with the provider you choose.
Give us accurate collection instructions and the details needed to identify your authorised representative. Customer-arranged delivery does not remove any responsibility that applicable law places on William Taylor.
5. No returns or order cancellations
William Taylor does not accept change-of-mind returns or customer-requested order cancellations. Please check your items, sizes, colours and quantities carefully before placing an order.
This policy does not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, or an item materially different from its description, contact us with your order reference and details of the problem. We will review the issue and provide any remedy required by law.
6. Pre-orders and limited editions
Read the product or campaign details carefully before purchasing a pre-order or limited-edition item. Any stated availability or collection timing applies to that item. Contact us if you need clarification before ordering.
7. Using the website
Use the website lawfully. Do not misuse another person's account or payment details, interfere with the website's operation, or attempt unauthorised access. Keep your account credentials private and contact us if you suspect misuse.
William Taylor branding, photographs and product content may be protected by intellectual property rights. Purchasing a product does not grant permission to reproduce that content for commercial use.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how customer information is used for orders, payment, communication, marketing and website services.
9. Questions, disputes and changes
Contact us first with any order concern so we can work towards a resolution. These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Tanzania and do not restrict any mandatory consumer protection or complaint rights.
We may update these terms for future purchases. Changes will be shown on this page with a revised date and do not retrospectively remove rights relating to an existing order.
